Isabel Carvajal Valentine Bath

I photographed Isabel Carvajal at her place in North Hollywood. Isabel came up with the idea of a bath-time photoshoot when I mentioned that I wanted to do something special for Valentine’s Day. She suggested some bubbles, wine, and candles. I must say our execution was not the best. The bubble bath didn’t have enough bubbles (always go with Mr. Bubble), we didn’t have a bottle of wine to open, and the candles were mostly overpowered by the ambient light in her bathroom.

Nonetheless, I had beautiful Isabel without a stitch of clothing on, her roommate was away for the afternoon, and she was ready to get soaked. So I hope that you enjoy this silly holiday and that most of you manage to get some!

Ingrid Hayes Becomes Little Dragon

Ingrid Hayes is over 18. Please do not get your undies in a bunch. Her looks are quite deceiving, but that is probably an ideal quality for an actress. She is putting this trait to good use in edgy roles that call for a young girl with an untamed sexuality. Watch out Ellen Page. I have seen Ingrid’s reels and was very impressed, truly one of the few actresses I have met that can actually act.

She gave me a tiny taste with her nauseated look in image #17. Fooled me. We took these out in Eagle Rock. Ingrid was bold and beautiful in this little dress by Forever 21 without a stitch of anything else underneath. Stay tuned for more of this unique beauty.

Ingrid Hayes Camera Girl

A while ago I became intrigued with photos that I found floating on the net where you see a girl clothed and then right next to it, the same girl in a similar pose but with less clothing on. When I met Ingrid Hayes for this shoot, I explained the concept and we gave it a go. Ingrid is a pleasant young lady with the essence of a hipster, however I still think she’s pretty cool.

I poked around her place for items we could use as a prop and she whipped out a 35mm film camera that she got at Urban Outfitters. I only ever owned one film camera and it was a broken one that I don’t think I ever figured out how to work. I never found where to plug in the USB cable to download the photos?!?

Essie Halladay Cosmic Commit

Photos of Essie Halladay are some of the most difficult to edit/delete. I will admit, there is some redundancy in this gallery. However, I doubt many of you will take issue. Essie does not have great eyesight. She almost always requires her prescription glasses.

Perhaps, this is what caused the twist in her stockings to go unnoticed. I will not be blamed. You try avoiding the distraction of this woman’s beauty. To add more intrigue to Essie, she is an admitted part-time psychonaut. Happy travels, folks.

Harper Scott Afternoon Hunting

Harper Scott was one of the first people that I ever hired to photograph. I jumped online and searched for girls that looked cute and open-minded for the type of photos that I wanted to take. I initially thought I’d be able to schedule a shoot for later that week.

However once I started corresponding with Harper, I took a shot in the dark and asked if she’d be interested in coming over that afternoon for an hour or two. To my surprise, she was game and was at my door in no time. I can’t say I knew exactly what I was doing, nor do I even now. I just know what type of photos I like to see and aim for that. Fortunately, Harper Scott is a sharp girl and easy to work with … the perfect beginning to my long and eventful journey behind the camera.

I am waiting for some friends to join us at El Cholo Mexican restaurant. It makes me think of the last time I was here with one of the girls from the site. Ah, the memories of mammaries and Dos Equis.

Patience Dolder Boats Plus

Patience Dolder is a sweet, goofy, vegan, kinkster from Colorado. She is one of the kindest and most adventurous women I have met. For example, she took the initiative to bring ME a small gift upon our first meeting. That immediately raised the bar for all future girls of Zishy.

At our soy-based luncheon, we were given a humorous order number. After which, we experimented with making a long dress work in provocative photos. Boat supplies shopping at West Marine was fun. Now I just need a boat.

Hannah Kinney Argyle Arrangements

Hannah Kinney was not terribly impressed with these photos. Perhaps I often create with blinders on. I often look past ‘imperfections’ and stigmas of what is considered to be a good photo or proper styling or a beautiful setting.

But I only put images (and girls) up on Zishy that I personally appreciate. I am ultimately concerned with giving you something you don’t see everywhere on every photographer’s portfolio or in every magazine. Because no one likes being bored and Zishy will certainly end once I am bored.
